FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Still have questions? Reach our team at info@atlhealthspot.com or (877) ATL-SPOT.

Do you do live scan or only ink cards?
We provide ink card fingerprinting on standard FBI FD-258 and most state/agency cards. Confirm with the requesting agency that ink cards are accepted.
Can I bring my own fingerprint cards?
Yes — please bring the exact cards required by the requesting agency. We also keep standard FBI FD-258 cards on hand.
How many cards should I get?
We recommend at least one extra. Agencies occasionally reject cards for smudging or alignment, and an extra avoids a return trip.
What can a notary not do?
A notary cannot give legal advice, prepare or draft documents, or notarize a signature that wasn't made in their presence (with limited exceptions like properly executed acknowledgements).
Should I sign my document before arriving?
Generally no. Most notarial acts (jurats, sworn statements) require you to sign in front of the notary. Acknowledgements may allow prior signing — bring the document either way.
Do you offer mobile or after-hours service?
Standard service is at our Atlanta location during business hours. Group or business arrangements may be available — contact us to ask.
